Advancing Energy Sustainability Through Knowledge and Systems

Factory Transformation

The Challenge

Rising energy costs, increasing environmental concerns, and growing stakeholder expectations have made energy efficiency and sustainability strategic priorities for organizations. However, many industries lack the knowledge and structured systems required to effectively manage and improve energy performance.

CRE's Approach

In collaboration with the Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (SEEM) and the Indo-German Energy Programme (IGEN), CRE organized a two-day capacity-building program on Innovative Approaches for Energy Sustainability and ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.

The program provided participants with practical insights into energy efficiency, sustainable energy management practices, and the implementation of internationally recognized energy management systems.

The Outcome

The program enhanced awareness of energy sustainability principles and equipped participants with the knowledge required to establish systematic approaches for monitoring, managing, and improving energy performance.

It also promoted the adoption of ISO 50001 as a strategic framework for reducing energy consumption, lowering operational costs, and supporting environmental sustainability objectives.
